Over the years I've come across many extremely talented and passionate athletes who aren't afraid to put limbs and life on the line in order to push the limits of what is possible.
Tragically not all the times things go according to plan, and despite knowledge and competency when something doesn't go right, the consequences can mean an ultimate price will be paid.
Here are just a few of the souls who have left this planet over recent years of whom I've shared some incredible experiences with. RIP mates, and thanks for the good times we've shared in some of the most incredible places on earth.
